Strega (Stray-gah) - The Italian word for witch. But not witch in a scary way - more in the Glinda the Good Witch sense. In Italian villages, the strega was the woman one would visit when traditional, scientific solutions weren't working. The strega would mix a little bit of science with a little bit of magic to find just the right solution.
